About me
I’m Gusia, an artist from Odesa, Ukraine. The war forced me to leave my home country. I now live and work in Israel — a country that has found a special place in my heart and become a source of inspiration.
I paint in oils on canvas. I’m drawn to moments when the familiar becomes unexpected: headlights on a night street, reflections in windows, vivid colour against a dark background. My work brings realistic details together with bold colour choices, spanning cityscapes, portraits and pop art.
Between 2022 and 2025, I participated in group exhibitions in Tel Aviv, Ra’anana and Netanya.

Gusia — oil paintings in Israel
I was born in Odesa, and today I live and paint in Israel. I work in oil on canvas and look for the moment when the familiar becomes unexpected: city lights at night, a woman’s gaze, the silence of a prayer.
My paintings bring together portraits, Israeli cityscapes — Tel Aviv, Hadera, Jerusalem — still life and pop art in bold colours. You can see the works in the gallery here, and the newest ones on Instagram @gusia_art7.
